Privacy Policy of FlamaSentry Bot

FlamaTech Consulting LTD ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable laws in Malta and the European Union.
This Privacy Policy applies to the FlamaSentry Telegram Bot and describes the data collected while the bot is active in a Telegram group where it has admin rights.

1. Data Collection

When FlamaSentry Bot is added to a Telegram group and granted admin rights, it collects and processes limited personal data necessary for its moderation and analytics features. The data collected includes:

  • Telegram user ID
  • Telegram username (if available)
  • Telegram first name
  • Message content (text messages only)
  • Telegram chat ID

2. Use of Data

The data collected is used solely to:

  • Support automated moderation actions (e.g., spam detection, rule enforcement)
  • Generate group analytics and activity metrics
  • Improve the performance and reliability of the bot

3. Data Retention

All collected data is retained for a period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. This includes supporting active analytics dashboards and audit logs for moderation. By default, data is stored for no longer than six (6) months, after which it is securely deleted.

4. No Data Sales or Sharing

We do not sell, share, or disclose any personal data with third parties. All data collected by the FlamaSentry Bot is used strictly for internal functionality and compliance with this privacy policy.

5. Data Storage

All data is securely stored on virtual private servers (VPS) rented from trusted providers or through compliant cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud). These services follow industry-standard security practices and are GDPR-compliant.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • File a complaint with the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) in Malta

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated effective date.
